Moni Great rhymes and soul much from Ghana via London. The Kubolor/FOKN Bois collab is amazing as is Kelewele and of course Anaa. Favorite track: Anaa.

about

No 1. Mango Street, an innovative masterpiece named after the place M3NSA grew up in Accra. Although he now lives in London, the record is dedicated to his roots and the experiences that shaped him into the man he is today. “I talk about going back to pick up from where I left things at, and where everything started,” M3NSA explains. “That doesn't mean I'm taking steps back in my life, it's actually helping me to know exactly where I come from and bringing all those experiences with me.” The poignant number sets the tone for an eclectic musical journey that takes cues from jazz, US hip-hop, afro-beat and high-life music.
